Hi there!! I wanted to submit a review on FOXYLOCKS hair extentions. I have been wearing hair extensions for about 9 years now, and I have tried out several different kinds, most from the beauty supply store. I have since shyed away from these types as the hair is not true REMY cuticle hair. I stumbled across Foxylocks website and WOW, they looked amazing? I thought -- for the extra little bit of money, why not get a set of "remy" hair? I also watched MANY MANY videos on youtube with amazing reviews and even tutorials showing you how to put them in, etc. I WAS SOLD! I ordered my set and got them within a week. I must say, the customer service and shipping was VERY fast. At first these extensions felt AMAZING -- sooo soft and long and silky... I could not believe how great they were. I immediately posted a good review on Foxy's website. I am an avid hair extension wear-er, like I mean I wear these almost every day and I take GREAT care of my hair extensions, they are like babies to me. I am SUPER disappointed to say they did not pass the test of time.
I have noticed after about a month - month and a half, they started matting up and tangling. ALSO: they shed like CRAZY. I think I lost half of the amount of hair from these things. If you look in the pictures you will notice that they are so thin at the bottom and you can see the fuzzy bird's nest they have also created throughout the middle of the hair. I am constantly brushing these if I wear them now. I even told my friends how amazing these were and had them ALSO purchase these. They are not so impressed. I think that the "coating" came off these extensions soon after the first wash, leaving them very dry and broken.
These extensions were GOOD for the first month, but don't expect them to last long after!!! Don't be fooled, I would advise you spend your money elsewhere for better quality. Check out the below picture: I found THICK black strands of hair inside these extensions (to which they were corse, bumpy and shiny like plastic?) GROSS!
I have since purchased a new set from HELLO GORGEOUS - Hoping H.G Extensions turn out better! I know the shipping takes a while, but I hear the wait is worth it! =) I will post a review when they arrive and again after a few months!
